Men's Breakfast

This event is being organized by our CVM Group Men Together in Guiseley, Leeds.

Guest Speaker: Duncan Larcombe

Duncan Larcombe is an award-winning journalist, broadcaster and best-selling Royal author who’s journey to Christ has been long and painful.

In 2004 he covered the Boxing Day Tsunami and witnessed more than 5,000 dead bodies laid out in a field. It caused him to question his belief in a loving gentle God who he had been told about since childhood. Flying high, his world came crashing down in 2012 when he was arrested in a dawn raid in relation to corruption charges. He spent four years on bail, was suspended from work and eventually went to open trial at the Old Bailey, where he was acquitted.

Despite being a free man, the combination of traumatic experiences had turned him to drink and he eventually ended up in the Priory Hospital while his marriage, career and life seemed to implode.

Come along to hear how God saved his life...

Cost: Free - donations accepted, please.

Venue: Guiseley Factory Workers Club, 6 Town Street, Guiseley LS20 9DT
