On Sunday 11th November, churches and communities will gather to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the signing of the Armistice of 11 November 1918 and the end of WW1.
CVM, alongside many other organisations, have been working with HOPE Together on the Remembrance 100 initiative.
Remembrance 100...

Remembrance 100 is not only so-named because a century has passed since the end of WW1 but has also drawn from the inspiration of the 100 days leading up to the Armistice of 11 November 1918 with 100 days of prayer and peace-making activities.

Resources for 11th November...

Part of CVM’s collaboration with HOPE Together was to create the Greater Love DVD pack 4-years-ago to mark 100 years since thestart of The Great War. This is a free* resource that is still available and includes videos/interviews very relevant to planning a Remembrance service next month, to lead your church and community in remembering the lives lost.
As well as film clips and testimonies, the pack also contains talk outlines, service suggestions and meeting plans for all age groups.

Have a look at this 1 minute Greater Love DVD montage.

HOPE has also produced a pocket-sized booklet called ‘Silence’ to give away at Remembrance events. Find out more atwww.Remembrance100.co.uk

The Greater Love DVD pack is free*.
