THE GATHERING FOR FAMILIES! A NEW FESTIVAL
Thousands of guys have attended The Gathering [for men] over the years and many have often said that they would love something like this for their families. Well, the breaking news is...
...we’ve gone and done it!
Decades ago, an amazing evangelist called Don Double set up a summer camp which, in its day, saw thousands attend every year. Don, now in his 80s, asked CVM President, Carl Beech to take the camp over and now after a year of planning and dreaming with a small team (including those that bring you The Gathering) this summer we are launching Edge Fest (Sat 28 Jul – Fri 3 Aug).
You can expect all the usual fun and games but geared for the whole family. In fact, whether you are married, single, have kids or not - we’ll have something for you all. We’re also working hard to create an environment that you can bring your not-yet-believing family members or friends with you. There’s all the usual elements of banter, fun, bible teaching, worship, a central Hub area with a cafe and evening entertainment, loads for children to do including a packed children's and youth program. All this for only £119 per adult (see website for prices for children etc).
We’re excited about the potential!
“I can remember the first year of the Gathering - a handful of guys, not enough toilets, the worlds grumpiest barman… we’ve learned from those early days AND God has blessed us (I think because we put the gospel front and centre). 
We’re praying we see a similar journey with Edge Fest.â€
