ARE THE ENGLISH REALLY THE FITTEST?
So far, 34 guys have registered to run the Saturday morning 5km free parkruns for CVM in February. It turns out all 34 were from England!
Yep, none of the fellas from our Scottish, Welsh or Irish CVM men’s groups or regions ran with CVM as their registered club. Lazy or what? Well maybe the weather was worse in February so let’s see if March encourages a few more runners, joggers or walkers out? Within our CVM regions the South West top scored with 11 runs, followed by the East Midlands with 9. Neville Towers at Gunnersbury parkrun in London and Neil Lee at Leamington Spa were our top athletes, they didn’t miss a Saturday, well done chaps.
To register go to parkrun.com and choose ‘Christian Vision for Men’ as your club and we will then receive your results. If you are already registered, just change the club in your profile. Come on lads, let’s get fitter and spend time with our mates on Saturday mornings. You can chat before, after or even during the event?
