How effective is your church at reaching out to dads?
Our friends at Who Let the Dads Out? (WLTDO?) are running some Ministry to Fathers training days around the country and a Ministry to Fathers teaching weekend at Cliff College (May). These events are created to equip male and female church leaders, workers and volunteers to get to grips with why and how, as a church, to connect with men - wherever they are on their journey of fatherhood and faith.
The training days will explore some of the theology around the role of fathers and father figures, the need for intentional and specific ministry, the social and spiritual benefits and some practical approaches.
