Naked Truth

CVM is proud to be supporting the first Naked Truth prayer event.

Naked Truth is a movement to bring change in the world of pornography.

CVM has a great relationship with the team at Naked Truth, and support them entirely in their mission to free men from porn addiction.

The movement will be launched at a prayer event at the Message Trust HQ, in Manchester. 

Ian Henderson, founder of the Naked Truth, said: “At first we began to pray and talk about how families and futures, marriages and ministries are at risk or even ruined by the pull and power of porn. It was then that God reminded us of 2 Chronicles 20: 5&21. In the verses, the nation is under attack from a vast army too big for them. After King Jehoshaphat, gathers the nation to pray, a prophet pipes up and says: “Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the LORD says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.”

We’ve found this verse very encouraging. Naked Truth believes that it's time to step up and fight for freedom. But this isn't our battle, and it's not a battle against flesh and blood, but against the systems of this world and spiritual forces. So any change we long to see in our nation and in individual’s lives must start with prayer.”

On Friday 30 March people will gather at the Message Trust, Lancaster House, Harper Road, Sharston, M22 4RG. The prayer event will run from 8pm to 10pm.

Ian Henderson added: “This isn't just a prayer meeting, this is rallying the troops against a vast army. This is interceding for a nation, the trapped and the broken.
This is loud, heaven shaking praise
and prophetic declaration of freedom.
This is for EVERYONE - not just youth, not just men, not just those who struggle with porn.”
