SNOWBOARDERS AND SKIERS INTRODUCING MEN TO JESUS
If you’ve ever enjoyed a bit of skiing, like to indulge in some occasional snowboarding or are simply a white weather downhill fanatic, then Snowboarders and Skiers For Christ (SFC) could be a group that you could make use of to introduce your not-yet-believing mates to Jesus.
SFC have regular get-togethers across 4 of the 6 snow domes in the UK and seek to pull Christians together who love snow sports and also want be a witness in the snowboard and ski culture in the UK. They also run outreach events for you to get plugged into.
Andy Brumby is SFC UK’s National Director. Andy attends Christchurch, Xscape which is a church planted in Xscape, Castleford, a leisure complex in West Yorkshire. SFC have been know to use the church for outreach work with the snowboarders, skiers and staff there.
According to Andy: “We’re also closely linked to Castleford Tigers and have just started using The Code Bible studies with some of the pros from Castleford, Leeds Rhinos and Wakefield Wildcats. God is doing great things in Rugby League too.â€
