MEN AT WORK NEEDED - 3 DAYS IN OCTOBER
Half-term renovation project in London
You may be aware of Mission Direct. We’ve teamed up with them recently to offer men and men’s groups short term mission trips overseas. However, they’ve just taken on a project, a little closer to home, that may be tailor made for you.
We need some help to work on two houses in north London that accommodate 16 – 18-year-old boys who have come to our country from very difficult backgrounds. The skill set required is that you are reasonably able bodied and willing to do a bit of hard work. However, we can always use accomplished joiners, plumbers, gardeners and painters too.
There are no age restrictions, though under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. You are welcome to take part as a family, church or men’s group.
The mission runs for three days from Thursday 26 - Saturday 28 October 2017 (half term week for most).
Accommodation (Travelodge) and food (local restaurants & packed lunches) are provided.
Cost per team member: £275
Dates: 26 - 28 Oct
(starts at 9am on 26 Oct and finishes at 4pm on 28 Oct)
