World Record Nativity!
Welton Baptist Church in Somerset, one of our partner churches, are now the holder of the offical World Record for ‘The Most Living Figures in a Nativity Scene’.
The record attempt took place in Midsomer Norton on Friday 2 December as part of the Lantern Fayre when 743 people dressed as various nativity characters.
THIS HAS NOW BEEN CONFIRMED by Guiness World Records.
The story has been covered by the BBC and there are also photos and a video to watch too (see below).
Well done to all who took part, to draw attention to the central story of Christmas.
