Our Quickfire ’16:North day is on 16th April and we’re excited to announce an additional speaker to the line-up.
Wayne Wood from the Betel Christian rehabilitation centre will be speaking about:
‘A Life Transformed’: Coming from death to life.
‘Wayne spent 21 years on heroin, crack, cannabis and party drugs. However an incident in his life pushed him to change everything. He was introduced to Betel and his life has since, turned around. He now works with groups of guys who have similar problems to the ones he had.’
Remember each speaker gets 15 minutes and is then klaxoned. They are finally NERF gunned, if they outstay their welcome.
There’s also a hog roast for lunch!!
Dave Hearn (U.S. Air Force/Global Adventure) - 'Building Dangerous Boys'
Jonathan Sherwin (Chaplain/Apologist) - 'Sharing the truth in love'
Mark Chester (Who Let the Dads Out?) - 'What makes a dad a great dad'
Jason Royce (Souster Youth Trust, Director) - 'When prudishness passes for purity'
Justyn Rees-Larcombe (former gambling addict/author/speaker) - 'Secret habits and their dangers'
Mark Tate (Worship creative) - 'Worship, Men & Sports'
Nathan Blackaby (CVM Exec. Director of Ministry) - 'Faith & Fear'
The day will be informative, fun, relevant and, we believe, life changing.
The content is created to inspire you in your walk with Jesus, share that journey with your mates with more confidence and tool you up to stand as men of God.
