CVM TO RUN GREAT MEN'S VENUE AT BIG CHURCH DAY OUT
CVM have been given the privilege of running the dedicated men’s venue at The Big Church Day Out.
Taking place on 23rd & 24th May at Wiston House, BN44 3DZ, this will be the second year we’ve undertaken this task. We had a great time at the event in 2014 and for 2015 we’re aiming to do much more. We want to offer a fun venue where guys can chill out but also find out how they can get tooled up to grow in their faith and introduce their mates to Jesus.
The Men’s Room, run by CVM will have:
- Resources for Christian men and men’s groups
- Wi-fi
- Newspapers
- Cool cars on display
- Skittle alley
- Table football
- Take your photo with FA Cup*
- Activities for dads and lads
- Scalextric
- Wii
- Darts
PLUS - We’ll have a barber offering proper, classic cut-throat shaving with all the trimmings.
The Big Church Day Out is about people and faith, music and worship, activities, families, and just being together. There’s something for everybody, from a nice cup of tea with a Chamber Orchestra, to high energy worship, and some of the best ‘Christian’ music the world has to offer…it’s all about being ‘church’ together.
BCDO aims to encourage and inspire people to press in for all that God has called them to do, both locally and further afield, and to provide a relaxed environment to introduce friends and family who have little or no experience of church.
Come and see us near the Village Green, grab a coffee from one of the cafes and then step into the male friendly zone.
