CVM radio show on Premier
From 14th September CVM are hitting the airwaves.
We’ve teamed up with Premier Christian Radio to try and achieve our goal of introducing 1 million men to Jesus.
With the ‘reach’ provided by Premier’s various media channels together with CVM’s passion and expertise in engaging unchurched blokes, we’re trusting that our linking together will ultimately change the lives of many men.
One of the main features of our working alongside Premier is ShedTalk, a half hour show every Sunday night, hosted by Carl Beech and friends. It promises to be an important 30mins as we tackle key issues for men such as: retro aftershaves, man snacks, church toilets and songs to listen to when you’re building an extension on your house.
The show will also look at inspiring heroes of the Faith as well as what men’s groups around the country are doing to introduce their mates to Jesus. One objective is to spark interest among listeners, to the show, to start up their own men’s group.
We’re calling these men’s groups ‘Sheds’, hence the name of the show. The more Shed groups we set up the more stuff we’ll see happening around the UK and the more lives we’ll see changed.
It’s great content, also, for existing CVM men’s groups and their members. The shows will additionally be available as a podcast so you’re encouraged to download it to listen to on the go and to forward the link to your mates.
Tune in on Sunday the 14th September at 9pm on Premier Christian Radio for the first show.
Premier Christian Radio broadcasts on MW 1305, 1332, 1413 in London, nationally on DAB, and on Freeview channel 725.
