On 26th April & 10th May, in London, come and get trained by CFEO to be that ‘new group of friends’ ex-offenders desperately need.
The two-part CFEO training is aimed at equipping CVM groups who work or would like to work with ex- offenders (or those at risk of offending) in your group/church. It is particularly useful for group/church leaders and those heading up the ministry in their church, as well as those interested in coaching or mentoring ex- offenders, and those just looking into how to get involved.
CFEO TRAINING PART ONE
Saturday 26th April 2014
9:30am - 4:30pm.
Holy Trinity Brompton, Brompton Road, SW7 1JA
Part One focuses on both the need to care for ex-offenders and how the church can carry this out practically. This training includes:
Where to start, risk management and practicalities of supporting ex-offenders Interactive sessions, time for Q & A and real-life case studies
Opportunities to meet others involved in this area and support each other
Cost: £20 per person (to cover lunch and materials)
Special group rate for 4+ people: £15 per person
CFEO TRAINING PART TWO
Saturday 10th May 2014
9:30am - 4:30pm.

Part Two has been designed to develop coaching support for ex-offenders, using the COACH programme. A coach is a volunteer who offers practical support and coaching towards life-goals for an ex-offender. This training covers:
Communication skills Boundaries and risk Understanding ex-offenders
Cost: £15 per person (to cover lunch and materials)
Special group rate for 4+ people: £10 per person
