Global Prayer Wave
On Wednesday 18th September it will be exactly two years to the opening ceremony of the 2015 Rugby World Cup hosted by England. Several events are being planned to mark this occasion, including a global wave of prayer.
At 7.30 on that evening prayer meetings for the tournament will take place around the world surfing the time zones from Auckland to Buenos Aires. The local manifestation of this global event will be in the Heroes Lounge at Franklin’s Gardens from 7.30 to 8.30 pm.
This is your invitation to join with folk across the world to pray for all aspects of RWC 2015 and its ancillary programmes (including chaplaincy, home hosting of squad members’ families, & volunteers), and to learn of the various ways the UK churches can potentially be involved.
