On Oct 26th this year, Carl Beech (known as Beechy and our fearless leader) and Steve Martin (known as Pincher and operations top gun at CVM) will be running what has been described as "the toughest marathon in Europe."
Featuring a hard core, 26.2 miles route up and around the Snowdonia mountain range its a seriously epic challenge. Just finishing is worthy of a cheer let alone the time it takes.
So why are they doing this and putting themselves through the pain? Well, several reasons really.
1. They are raising funds for a ground breaking evangelistic push called The Crazy Way that men can experience via the web, printed resources and live events.
2. It qualifies as a Grand Challenge activity. Something you can compete in too.
3. It's a response to living out The Code and keeping their bodies fit.
4. They are a bit daft.
We would love it if you could cheer them on. It just takes a few moments to give and leave a witty message of support. Please make all their running around the peak district in preparation, worth it. We have a need to raise another 15k to develop this project this year in the high quality way we are known for.
Thanks for all your support.
