Prayer & Praise Day
Last Saturday saw CVM host it's 'National Day of Prayer and Praise' for men's ministry in their home town of Chesterfield ... the day kicked off with singing led by Steve Martin who has just become our new Operations Director.
Carl led us through the day in praying for our work around the UK and internationally, and shared some exciting news on upcoming projects.
There were various intervals throughout the day when guys had the option to visit 'The Hub', CVM's head office, to pray over the building and all the offices. (Of course the office was the hotspot for the day as the guys found out we had nerf guns, a pool table and two dart boards!) It was brilliant to see so many guys in the offices and to be able to show them where the work happens!
Graham Kendrick led us in more worship sets throughout the day with the trumpeter and bongo legend Raul D’Oliveira.
We thank all the guys who came - and those who couldn’t make it who prayed at home. Please don’t stop praying for this ministry, we are founded in prayer and we grow in prayer. Keep praying!
