CVM have teamed up with Cliff College to offer you a Cliff College Certificate in Men's Ministry.
The week is delivered via lectures and seminars, and has practical as well as theoretical applications. Led by Michael Cooper and Jonathan Sherwin from CVM, with contributions by the Cliff College Faculty and expert adjuncts, the aim of the course is to enable new learning with time for personal reflection. The course seeks to explore new ways of better engaging with men, and leave the student with new skills and resources.
En-suite room, full board and teaching sessions, together with an opportunity to write and submit a theological assignment, leading to a graduation certificate for successful students.
‘This is an important addition to our range of courses, and allows us to explore an often forgotten area of Christian ministry – how do we reach, engage and disciple men? As well as offering some useful ‘ministry tool kits’, the week explores the key issues facing men in our society, how we can better support healthy relationships, and how we can grow a men’s ministry. We are really looking forward to working again with our friends at CVM!’
Ian White; Programme Leader; Short Course Programme, Cliff College.
‘At Christian Vision for Men we are really stoked about working with Cliff College on this key course in Men’s Ministry. With the numbers of men in church declining over the years, more and more churches across the UK are seeing the need to play their part in arresting that decline. The Men’s Ministry Training Course is a chance for you to invest in building up your church’s Christian men in their walk with Jesus and, most vitally, equipping them to bring their ‘not-yet-believing’ mates into that same relationship with the Saviour.‘
Nathan Blackaby, CEO, Christian Vision for Men.
Students say of the Short Course certificate programme:
“It was all totally invaluable and I wouldn’t change a thing.”
“Informative, challenging, reflective, resourcing, encouraging, enabling and empowering.”
“It will be hard to hold me back on things I will do! I need to go back, reflect, pray, discern the next steps. But as a ‘way of doing and being’, it’s been brilliant to take that away.”
