Manchester United came from 2-0 down to beat Manchester City 3-2 in the Community Shield at Wembley thanks to Nani’s 94th-minute winner.

India suffered another blow ahead of this week’s third Test against England as star fast bowl Zaheer Khan was ruled out of the rest of the series with ankle and hamstring injuries. India, who trail 2-0 in the four-match rubber, lost the services of spinner Harbhajan Singh and all-rounder Yuvraj Singh to injury last week.

England have their own injury problem with batsman Jonathan Trott missing the third Test due to a shoulder knock. Ravi Bopara is set to replace Trott, ending a two-year absence from the Test team, after being named in a 13-man squad.
