Welcome to 2021

A year ago today, if I had asked you what you thought 2020 would be like you would have probably listed loads of things that didn’t include a global pandemic.  We ended up with lockdown, a hit on global markets, widespread closures of the high street as we know it and church buildings across the globe shutting their doors.

The future now seems so incredibly uncertain and we can waste so much of our lives worrying about it. I also spent much of 2020 reading the news, lost in headlines and wondering how this all plays out. I have decided that 2021 won’t be the same for me, and I want to invite you to journey with CVM as we focus on Jesus.

What does that mean? Well it means you can expect to hear more about Jesus, in our emails in our blogs in our events and resources. I want to go to the places Jesus would go to, I want to see what he would say, see what he would do and see how he would act if he were me.

I want to read more in the bible about Jesus. I want to listen to people share who Jesus is to them. I want to understand more about the teaching of Jesus and how it impacts and applies to my life and to yours. I want to experience more of the life of Jesus, more of the hope he brings and more of the peace he offers.

So I am inviting you to journey with CVM this year and to get closer to Jesus. To see where and how he is moving and follow him.

As a movement at CVM we have one core aim, to introduce men to Jesus. So, it makes sense to me that we form up, and focus even more this year on seeking Jesus and sharing Jesus to men in 2021.

Happy New Year
