Meet the Team
Stuart Budden: Dundee (commencing early 2017)
Stuart is 53 and a commissioned Captain in the Church Army, currently working in Dundee.
His working background is as varied as the people he seeks to serve. This former slaughter-man/butcher moved into the hospitality industry working his way up from a bar cellar-man in a local pub to being a member of the United Kingdom Bartenders Guild cocktail demonstration team, working in some of the trendiest bars and hotels in London.
He is a former publican, London black cab driver, professional darts player and swimming teacher and has a passion to see men become the people God wants them to be and his mantra is "It's not what you've got, it's what you do with it".
He is currently part of the leadership team at his local church and is re-shaping Pray Care, an ecumenical group of people who build small teams to show the love of Christ in residential care homes, not only to the residents but the staff, management and family members.
He has a twenty two year-old son Lewis, who is currently travelling through Europe.
In his spare time he loves long distance walking, cooking and drinking good beer and wine and has been known to demolish the odd six bowls of jellied eels in one hit.
